Shared Services

Here at Withernsea Primary school, we offer various models of National, Local and School to School support.  Below are some of the staff who are currently involved with work beyond Withernsea Primary School.  For further information on any of the services mentioned below, please contact the school:

Headteacher

Our Headteacher supports other schools as a Local Leader of Education (LLE) on a variety of school improvement issues.  She previously worked as a School Improvement Partner for the Local Authority. Mrs. Harper also works as an OFSTED Inspector.

 

Academy Business Director

Our Business Director supports schools in her capacity as an SLE and as Associate Practitioner for the National Association of School Business Management (NASBM).  She is currently a designated Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) brokered by the Humber Teaching School and is the NASBM  Associate Practitioner for the East Midlands, Yorkshire & Humber regions.   

 

Deputy Headteacher

Mr Sutherland supports other schools in his role as a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) for behaviour support under the Wolds Teaching School Alliance.

 

Assistant Headteacher

Mrs Neale supports other schools in her role as a Specialist Leader for Education (SLE) for Initial Teaching Training under the Wolds Teaching School Alliance.  

 

ICT Technical Support

Withernsea Primary can offer an SLA to local schools for ICT Technical Support.  The service prides itself in providing additional services such as Asset Management, Procurement and all inclusive reactive support.   The service has been built on its reputation and supports 9 schools.

 

Premises Support

The school offers an SLA that provides a variety of services ;

Play Safety, Fire Safety, Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments 

Support is provided for documentation, guidance and safety inspections are completed when appropriate.

 

Nurture provision

Advice and guidance can be provided from our very successful Nurture room.  The facility is well established and has in the past provided support and acted as a model for other schools.

  • Advice/guidance on implementing Investors in Pupils
  • Advice/guidance on Restorative Practice
  • Advice/guidance on implementing the Pupil Premium, including links to pupil progress and specific interventions.
  • Advice/guidance on implementing Learning Communities - the school operates Learning Communities for Teachers and HLTAs.
